Evil Clown

This is a "fun" image based on a photo of fellow, and most excellent, artist Matt Dixon. Sorry Matt you probably didn't want that mentioned here ;) Matt very sportingly pulled a face and photographed himself to provide me with some reference. Although the image was altered entirely I find using some form of figure reference very helpful when painting people. Clowns make for quite a scary subject. Artwork © Anne Stokes.
